A Bad Romance Has Never Felt So Good
As you all know, the latest site-wide Valentine's Day event was held by none other than the Ravenclaw Staff. The relationship between Hagrid and Olympe inspired this event and the many contests that were held during it. Not only were there contests, but a participation raffle and REs as well. Although the Random Events did not work for the first few days, both GaGa lovers and haters still adored this event.

Fantastic Forum Changes
Everyone has noticed the new forum changes, and everyone is LOVING them. Though they caused stress the first few days because of errors and glitches, users sitewide were dealing with them because they knew it would benefit all of HEX in the end. Forum admins are having an easier time with editing the forums, changing the privacy settings, banning users, and providing comments for other administrators.

No More Broken Threads
That's right HEX. After years and years of being requested, users can FINALLY edit their own posts. However, because this makes it extremely easy for users to break rules, records of all edits are being kept. Users are now able to edit their posts a maximum of three times, and they only have ten minutes to edit them. This should provide less stress on mods who are constantly receiving owls about broken threads. So after years of waiting, thank you for finally providing our edit tool.

Slytherin T-Shirts!
After months of waiting, an announcement has finally been made in regards to the Slytherin T-Shirts. A winner has been chosen but the design is yet to be released. Keep an eye out for the new design.

Staff Success
Congratulations to Josh (aka HPfanextrm) for being promoted to staff member. Since there is now another edition to the programming staff, hopefully more new and amazing features will be coming soon. Thanks so much for your dedication to Hogwarts Extreme, Josh. We're all very happy for you.

Goodbye Huffie Staff
 As always, election season is bittersweet as we wave goodbye to yet another amazing Hufflepuff Staff. Let's take these last few weeks with the current staff to show them how much we've appreciated all their hard work. We love you Huffie Staff and good luck to all who are running in the elections!
