It's just like Miss Rowling had predicted in the books: the people of Diagon Alley have just started to disappear. Many of the beloved DAers have high-tailed it out of there and made a new home in either Hogsmeade or Knockturn Alley. Come on, people, let's be nice to DA. You know it's often frowned upon to leave something beloved for its sister. I think there is candy and/or money bribery somewhere in the mist. If that's the case does someone want to hit me up?
Right, back to the forum. There seemed to be a lot of free contests floating around this month. The new DA Mod, AlannaSpring, held a “Sell Like It's Going Out Of Style” contest which seemed to be a fairly popular and a good success in helping to boost the Hexeconomy. I'm a total failure when it comes to entrepreneurship, but managed to sell some hippogriff dung. As you can tell, I totally rocked that contest. There have been loads of other unofficial free contests as well. Many of the users had the opportunity to win their lover or themselves (which is especially helpful for the vain because that way, it's killing two birds with one stone) something pretty for Valentine's Day.
The vending machine still hates us all. Sometime in the near future there is going to be some sort of vengeance due to the amount of times the sinister little box has killed each and every one of us. That box is going down. It is on like Shaun.
Let's hope things in DA tend to warm up a bit with the beginning of Spring. Personally, I'm excited to ditch the puffy, marshmallow-esque, winter jackets and frolic (considering I can't skip) around in the forum. Maybe the sun will draw the dead DAers out from under their rocks. We can only hope, right? The good thing about an off season, is there is only one place to go but up... or horizontal.
